Don't worry, I got the entrance fee baby: Aquarium and Fairytale Day!

Another day of waking up bright and early! Gosh, we were just sooo productive in Portugal -- headed to Starbucks and met the funniest man. We don´t know his name, but okay when the people in Starbucks speak to you they speak in English and they are actually pretty darn good at it, but this guy was absolutely HILARIOUS!! He goes to ask Gina Marie for her ¨autograph, not signature pleasee¨ Gina signs the bill and goes ¨this is going to be worth money someday¨ - DUH - and then he does the most embarrassing thing ever, which we mean AWESOME THING EVER, he literally jumps up and down, waves the receipt around and yells yayyyyyyy!!! gosh, he just made our morning.

okay so then after that top 10 fabb event in our lives, we head straight to the OCEANRIO DE LISBOA! aka THE AQUARIUM!!! Gabby couldn´t wait to see all the animals and Gina could care less about it, but whatevvsss it was so entertaining. we found sharks and fish and frogs and turtles, saww a cuuteeee sea otter and lots of penguins! the penguins are just like the people of europe -- they LOVEE PDA! watchh ouutttt. then we took a gandalua ride across the water and saw the skyscrapers of Lisbon and one side and the amazing water on the other. muy muy muyyyy bonita!!!

after a 3 hour lunch and some standoffish waitresses, we headed to Castelo de Sao Jorge! A CASTLE!!! so some whinersss were like ¨im just going to sit outside the castle and not pay entrance fee¨ okkkayy losers, but when we
found out entrance fee was like 2 euro for students we went in & damnnn if some boy flies us out to portugal to watch the sunset over the walls of the castle or propose or maybe just get married theree, all we have to say is: "DON´T WORRY WE GOT THE ENTRANCE FEE BABBBYY" gosh this place was absoltuely GORGEOUS and such a fairytale!! we had an hour long photoshoot here too of course and then made our way to our favvv italian restaurant for dinner and passed out because we had to wake up bright and early - 4:30 AM - to sayy addiosss to the partiers in the streets and the beautiful city of Lisbon. back to our home sweet home in madrid and to the wonderful kisses of concha and santiago

Friday: "i saw ass, then ran!"

Lisbon Trolley - PICTURE PERFECT!
We woke up bright and early at 8am the next morning, which was VERY impressive, got ourselves together and headed out onto the streets of Portugal to embrace the city, of course only after a much needed stop at STARBUCKS. We took the cute little trolley to the Tower of Belem, walked around there and ended up having a hour long photoshoot, had their famous pastries which were delicious, had some more photoshoots and then started to head back.  We got back to the hostel for a little siesta and showers and then met our next favv boyy TAYLOR aka taytay - heyyyy! We invited him out with us and headed towards the famous Elevator:  Elavedor de Santa Justa .  We rode it to the top where there was a terrace that overlooked the entire city!  It was beautiful!  We watched the sunset, annoyed people with taking our photos and were just soo soo soo happy we could enjoy this all together. After the ususal photoshoots we headed back down for some dinner!  We ended up at this superrr goood italian restaurant where the waiter was just wayyy too nice!  He gave us some recommendations on a few bars and nightclubs to go to.

view from the top of the elevator!
After din din we pregamed with our aiport wine that we still had and played a round of "fuck the pyramid" and "21" in our hostel before heading out for the night!  The next door neighbors told us "don't drink too much, we are sleeping next to you!" POOR LADIES! justkidding, we weren't that loud this night. We started out doing a little bar hopping like the first night, ended up at the mohito bar once again and then went for a run around the streets! Gina ran over one of those air vents in the middle of the road and heyyy portugal saw her bootaaayyy oops sorrreyyyy Portugal!!  I think we were trying to go to a club on the beach or something i dont remember, but it was just soooo unsuccessful, so we tried to catch a cab but ended up walking back up the hill and dancing to old school B-SPEARS songs...Oooppss I did it againnn.. I´m not that innocenttttt...kayyyy Even though the night didn't end up as planned, we still had some good laughs and obvsss good memories!!!

loveee these laddiess <3

Thursday Night: PARTY IN THE STREETS

HOTTIESS OUUTT
Hey Hottiess!!! Just got back from Lisboa, Portugal today!!!  We had the most fabulous time!  Portugal is absolutely beautiful!!!!  After checkinnn out of class early and rushing to the airport for our flight, buying Emily a new 50 Euro ticket because she accidently bought the wrong time, and frantically printing last minute boarding passes we arrived at our terminal to find that our plane was delayed about 2 hours okayyyyy sooo what do we do, obviously bought a few bottles of wine, some chocolate and were down for a few rounds of "fuck the pyramid" while we waited; however, no one would open our bottle sooo there went that plan.  A few hours later we finally arrived in Lisboa, Portugal!!!! woohooo!!! we hopped on el autobus to head to our hostel.  Of course we made a new friend on the bus, Andrew!  (He also has a blog if you would like to check that out: http://www.barelyballin.blogspot.com/   )

takkee a pictureee
Of course the bus doesn't take us straight to the hostel, so we had to figure the way ourselves roaming the streets of lisbonn, oh heyyy! we walk into this building and start to go up the escalators minding our own business when ohh damnnn the PAPARRAZZIII starts taking hella photos of us - who would blame them though, whyy they so obssessed - WE DON'T KNOW! but after a run in with a few hottieee police officers we finally arrived at our hostel just in time to put down our bags, put our partayyy clothes on and hit the calles de Portugal, in the Barrio Alto of Lisbon to be exact!  The Portugese love to party in the middle of their streets there..es normal.

So we did a little bar hopping, took a free shot of what was practically gatorade, wandered to the tequila bar for a tequila shot, and eventually ended up outside this one bar with a few very large/strong mojitos in hand.  The street was defintely poppinn!

lined up & poured just the way we like them

We chatted it up with some boys from Germany and England -- who ended up buying us roses, Janelle had some fun then yacked it up on the streets of Portugal..standard.. and Emily did some wandering of her own to culturize herself amongs the Portugese boys.  It was the BEST night ever, wrote SNAPS FOR HOTTIES on the wall of the hostel and called it a night! woo!

Fake Strike in Spain so WE PLAY!!

Wednesday, September 29 Spain went on strike and we were forced to go to class, but with a lenient teacher and a 40 minute metro ride with a transition in the "most dangerous part of Madrid that day" we decided on NOO WAY JOSE CUERVO were we going to class!! so tuesday night @ 11pm, we said heyyy santiago where can we get some wine and chocolate? He pointed us in the direction and then the party started in Concha's kitchen, we even got an inspirational talk before we played the fabb game of fuck the pyramid. Concha told us, in spanish of course, but I will translate for you - "Chicas, have experience in love, but know what you want and know what you don't want in life." - such a cute little mammaaa she is! Her and Santiago have been together since they were 16, QUE PRECIOSA!!! so after our four boxes of wine, fuck the pyramid, and janelle getting totallyyyy fucked in fuck the dealer, we had our typical computer party followed by gossip girl & a good night's rest.
favorite place in the house

Woke up in the morning at 12 on Wednesday, found out only 4 people went to class and they talked about food - soo heyy don't feel bad Professor Saul SORRAYYY! and then we decided to go to El Parque del Retiro meet up some chicoossss. BUT FIRST - stop at the mercado to get some more wine, brie, salomi, nectarines, and bread -- oh and chocolate -- for a great lunch in the park! how cute are we, seriously, you don't need to tell us!

lunch in el parque!
okay so after victoria had to chug for 52 seconds because she got fuckkeddd, she had to go to class to turn in some homework and then everyone went their separate ways. Janelle, G&G came back to
Concha's to finish the fabb day of the fake strike in spain and take some time to ourselves for some relaxation!

THANKS AGAIN HUELGA GENERAL FOR THE FREE DAY!

OH! one more thing -- the points board became official this day:

hey david, i live in SD, i know what tequila tastes like

First weekend in Madrid! WOOHOO! So, we started the weekend Wednesday night, with plans to attend Orange Cafe's international party, but we heard there were lots of people going, the place might be a bit small -- it could just end in a hot mess inside the bar, BUT FIRST -- ohhh quick stop at the sketch bar on the corner between Concha's house and the metro stop, 1€ shots YES PLEASE! and made friends with the cute asian ladies working!!! okay, finally got to Orange Cafe, the line was down the street so we kept walking to the front trying to find someone closer, but bar hopping just sounded too good. SO down the street we went and met some creeper man, took a shot and addioosss to that bar. The metro closed at 1:15, but we weren't ready to leave just yet, so to our favv plaza, Plaza del Sol, in order to get a closer cab ride to home when we were ready! Walk out the escalator and a bar promoter named David was just waiting for our arrival -- he runs up to us and says "girls, girls I take you to this bar, we have free shots and fun!" so ya, okay we go and realize this might be sketch, but whatevs and its actually FUN! but these free shots were about one drop tequila and the rest filled with margartia, but its chill Janelley made friends with the bartender Hector and heeyyyy free shots all weekend!!!

backstreet boys pose
Thursday night was free night at Joy, una discoteca! We got all sassy and walked past our sketch bar on the corner, but sadly NOT OPEN :( so we took the metro to Sol, walk up the escalator and ohhh there is david -- "baby, baby, lets go back to the bar" -- so okay, okay we went and Emily met some guy from France who could dance. cut the line at joy, get in free -- oh ps: there was plans to make this entire night freee with a metro ride at 6 AM -- get a drink for free then hit the dance floor. as the night progressed, gabs couldn't make it and took a taxi ride home around 3:30, but the rest of the hottiessss got home around 6:30AM, just in time to say goodbye to Santiago, our house father, as he was leaving for work! HAVE A NICE DAY SANTIAGO!

meant to take a picture of that
drunk guy, but this boy is too awesome
Friday - no school! woke up, attempted to write our papers -- ugh! writing papers in Spain is 34098234X harder than writing a paper in San Diego & writing a paper in San Diego is sooooooooo hard! Saturday night we hit Gran Via, a poppin street with bars, but it was kinda dirty & we really just wanted a quiet wine night. We ended up at the exact opposite place though, at a tapas bar called El Tigre. This place was poppin, but reminded me of Dick's Last Resort -- the only cool thing was that we got biiiigggg drinks for superr cheap and a few plates of tapas! YUMM!!! OH - we also took this awesome picture, heyyyyy

so, do you wanna?

Fourth night of the weekend: SATURDAY! Saturday night is happen in Spain!!! Of course, we went stopped at the sketch bar this night, said whatss upppp to our lovely friends -- who, right when we walked in, ran to the freezer to grab our chilled shot glasses and poured us each vodka shotss! took the metro to Sol, of course, to hit up our new fav bar for a bit and found a dance floor downstairs, woo! this place just got better!!! then met up our Kapital club promoter friend, Nick for some passes to the 7 floor discoteca! danced the night away after a long island ice tea and a mohito, that got spilled :( scored some poinntsss and then called it a night!

dang, this weekend has been so long, but one more day!! SUNDAY -- woke up early for church, i know we are so well-rounded! then after church, went to Sol, shockinnggg, walked through Plaza Mayor to the cutest mercado to be at on a Sunday Afternoon. Got some tapas and some treats and even some MEXICAN FOOD! walked around a little more and then came back to our home sweet home at Concha's for a siesta and to finally finish our travel seminar papers! This weekend has been too much fun, but only 4 days of class and then HEYY PORTUGAL! we absolutely cannot wait!!

got these sick hats from some hotties at our favorite bar

is 100 a lot? - for europe? NAHHH

Our current obssession: fratmusic.com

WHY?

well, okay so these fabbb discotecas in europe only play techno beats, well except for the occasional times you walk in the club before 1:30 AM - they play 70's and 80's at this time. BUT WHATEVVAA, so we found this awesome site..and by awesome, i mean best thing we have ever stumbled upon, and when we need a good laugh/a power hour playlist we go to it. so go to this website then there are names of mainly techno playlists that these frat boys created and posted or whatever -- the names get to us, we could laugh for hours about them. Playlists we bookmarked just because their names are toooooo embarrassing:

- Snakes & Condoms, The Two Things I Don't Fuck With
- Binge Drinking Playlist
- MY COUCH PULLS OUT, BUT I DON'T
- Real Girls Get Down
- Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats
- FratStrong
- HOLY SANTA CLAUS SHIT

OLD GUYS LOVE GINA

It all started in Barcelona when we were walking up a street and saw old couples - so in luvveeduvvv - dancing away; such a romantic scene! We stopped for a quick photo opp and just to admire the "old and in love" ways of life when Janelle yells "guyyysss, gina is getting asked to dance!" no joke people, this old man in a red polo tucked into his khaki shorts was chasing after gina trying to get her to dance with him, but when the band started a new song she, of course, gave him the honor of dancing with the one and onlyyy gina marie. When the dance was over, we asked gina, "what was he saying?!!" she responds, "guys, i don't knowww..i don't speak spanish!" OHH HEYYY... NO HABLAS MUCHO!

The old man love only continued in Sevilla! We walked into Club Buddha and clearly the MEN knew what was up because they were just running over wanting photo opps left and right! after one group picture, one old man thought gina was a hottie - duhhh, right? - and wanted a solo photo!!!!!!! DIOS MIOS! He went in for the kiss, but even after a faustino power hour, shot of vodka, glass of sangria, and a drink in hand - this old man still wasn't lookin good in gina's eyes. He got the cheek - yikkess, booteddd! sorraayyyy

Look for some OLD GUYS LOVE GINA updates - maybe one day/night puntoos will be scored, and honestly i've already seen some lookin her way! iiyyyy

Tienes Numero o Facebook POR FAVOR?

Next stop after Barcelona was another one of our favorite stops, VALENCIA!  After the half a day of autobus travel we arrived in Valencia to check into our hotels, take a quick siesta, and then board the buses once again for a city tour and trip to a few monuments.  First stop was the BEAUTIFUL Cuidad de las Artes y de las Ciencias.

After the picturesque photo shoot spot we continued on with a bus tour of the Old City and then on to visit the Cathedral and walked around a central plaza.

The next day we had class in the hotel in them morning and then had the rest of the day free to roam around Valencia..so obvss we hit LA PLAYA!  After a 30 minute bus ride there we finally made it.  We enjoyed a lovely date with our hottie, Emily, soaking up the hot Espana sunshine and swimming in the extremely blue meditarranian!  After a few hours out on the sand we headed over to the boardwalk to get ourselves some Paella.  (Valencia is the birthplace of Paella which = best EVER)  We enjoyed a luxorious 2 hour lunch overlooking the ocean, sipping on some vino, chowing down on bread, mussels, paella, and our fav, postre!  It was just a wondeful afternoon and we all had the time of our lives!

Later that night after returning back to the hotel to shower and clean up a bit, we made our way back over to the plaza for some tapas and drinks.  After finishing up, we as usaul requested LA CUENTA POR FAVOR! (you gotta ask for it in Espana or you'll be there for days--they have no sense of time here)  Our hottie waiter of course sprinted over to his American chicas and when he brought us our bill he asked gabby for her telephone number or facebook yaaa know.. smooth right?? so of course gabby wrote her spanish numero with a heart on our bill and we all left!  Gabby and the waiter have a bit of a romance going on since that night--calls, texts, dates sooo in loveee.... hahah just kidddinggg kyle!

miss us now??
muchas besos!!!

Dow Jones

One of our first nights in Barcelona we wanted to go out but not the whole stay until 6 AM discoteca scene, so we heard about some of our people going to a bar called Dow Jones. We automatically looked at each other and were like, "heyyyy dow jones, like the stock market? okkayyy okkayyy, stock market = moneyyy + boys = perfect spot." plus the fact it just reminded us too much of daddy that we had to go! after the disgustingly hot metro and walk in the humidity & rain we just wanted to get slizzered. rolled up to this tiny bar with hella USD kids and ya knoowww how we are - loud, obnoxious americans. pushed our way through the chaos and told the bartender whatss up, "2 shots of tequila and 2 long islands ice teas puhlleasseeee!!!" lick, shoooot, and suck and one long island ice tea later we fell in love. this would be our go to drinks for the next few weeks and possibly the rest of espana!!!

But okay, what this blog is really about -- the bar had the history of the stock market and charts galore of the market before, during and after the crash. it was like we were in america while also learning and having fun - our daddy's would be so proud, because first and foremost we gotta be daddy's girls all dayyy erryyydayyy!!! They are always looking out for us, so we always gotta be thinking about them. In fact, Papa O just sent us an excerpt from the book "How Rich People Think" by Steve Siebold. Interested in buying -- click here!

First Stop: Barcelona!

The first stop on our Travel Seminar was BARCELONNAA!!! We spent the most amount of time there and were able to visit:
-Montjuich Hill
-Sagrada Familia
-Parque Guell
-Mountains of Monserrat (Monastery)
-Sitges (beach town)

Monserrat, Barcelona
Strike a MILEY
Our favorite was Sitges!  It was a beyond beautiful beach town where we spent the afternoon laying out, swimming in the Mediterranean, and eating the BEST sushi in the world!

Sitges, Barcelona
Our last night in Barcelona we discovered Opium night club right on the water!  It was probably the highlight of our time in Barcelona!  It was soo gorgeous we just couldn't get over it.  We of course started our night with power-hour Sangria in our hotel suite, followed by 1 tequila shot and a long island iced tea POR FAVOR at the bar the second we arrived.  When we first walked in we found this huge table of hottieee english boys? possibly irish? who knows..but they were hella weird and weren't obsessed with us? werid right? but it was fine we moved on.  It was time to hit the dance floor to of course show off our sickkk dance moves and obvsss score puntosss!!  Gina charmed her way into getting a boy from Finland to buy her a rose..hayyyy  Gabrielle cut her foot on some glass...standard right?  She also chatted it up with some boy from Cal Poly..Americannn--but sorry only worth 1..so she obvvs moved on.
Long Island Iced-Tea <33

Opium
Just couldn't pass up a beach photoshoot
We headed home sometime around 5 ish, caught about 1.5 hours maybe of beauty sleep then pulled ourselves together just fabulously, said hasta luego to Barcelona, and boarded our super luxorius buses for a wonderful 3-4 hour bus ride to our next destination, Valencia!!
